Learn to Weave with a Cricket Loom - CLASS IS FULL

Level of Experience: No weaving experience necessary.
Age Group: 12 and up
Class Size: 4

Weaving is an ancient, time honored craft. Looms can range from the simple to the massively complex. This class will teach the basics of weaving with a table top rigid heddle loom. You will learn how to warp the yarn, thread it and weave it. The Cricket Loom by Schact is compact, capable and cute! At only 11" x 18" x 6" and just under four pounds, it's easy to take along. The ten inch weaving width gives plenty of room to make a variety of projects without sacrificing portability. Comes with two stick shuttles, a warping peg, threading hook, two table clamps, and 8-dent rigid heddle reed and two balls of yarn.

Instructor: Nancy Alegria has been weaving since 2003 and has taught weaving to both elementary school children and adults. She has also been a regular contributor to Weavecast and wrote an article for the first issue of Weavezine.

Registration includes the the purchase of a Cricket Loom Kit and iinstruction. Quality instruction and a rigid heddle loom offered at a great price! The class can be taken for a reduced fee if you already own a cricket loom. Please contact us for more information.
